So on the day 2 I set up a day 3 with NYE girl. I decided to take her to Cuba Libra. It is a happening spot in uptown with good food and a chill atmosphere. Another thing I like about it is it has a bar upstairs so I knew we could bounce there and have some drinks if things went well during dinner.
NYE girl is pretty cool and I think would intimidate most guys not by her looks but by her career success. There is no doubt she is pulling in 6 figures and is on top of her career. She is definitely a very cool girl and I can relate to her in many ways. She is very stand offish during dinner but I can tell she is into me.
Since she picked up the tab at Starbucks I go ahead and pay for dinner. Afterwards we step over to the bar for drinks. When we sit down we order drinks and open a tab. As I am about to hand over a card she pulls her Visa out and hands it to the bartender. This was definitely cool of her to do and I was impressed.
One of her ploys was to say how hot so many of these athletes were on TV when we were watching some games at the bar. I know this was a shit test of hers because no one would keep going on like that unless they were testing you. She wanted to see how secure I was with myself. I never got upset by this and just went along with her on it. When I was younger this would have bothered me quite a bit. I look back at times when I was younger and this did piss me off when it would happen. Now it doesn’t bother me at all. I guess I have become much more secure with myself.
Overall the date was rather boring but we were vibing well and got to know each other pretty good. Pulled up to her place she leaned over and kissed me and then left. It was a pretty good kiss actually one of the better ones with her. I think she wanted me to come up but had reservations about inviting a guy into her place without knowing him well enough. Before she leaves I set up a day 4 with her the next night. She calls me on it saying isn’t that against the rules? I let her know well I don’t know what the rules are but I play by my own rules. Society doesn’t dictate when I want to see someone. She likes this and agrees to another date the next night.
