It turns out we are going to hit up Republic for the night. P4nzer and I arrive a little early and I can tell this is a pretty good place. It is a little small but it has plenty of places to isolate. There are a couple wrap around couches in the main room. There is also a heated patio which is really nice. The mixture of cool air and heat coming down felt really good.
We head to the bar and grab a drink. There is a 4 set of HB’s to my right that I would usually open with something very casual. For some reason I don’t. Hrmm odd that isn’t a good way to start the evening. Especially since one of them eyed me down. Lesson you can’t close what you don’t open. DUH. Alright so I get my drink and hang back behind the bar watching the television. There is a fight that is about to happen one that I have interest in. Kimbo this huge MMA fighter is about to fight. He has some crazy internet fights you can download. They are pretty entertaining. This one is televised and might actually be a real fight. It turns out to be a complete dud and ends in like 30 seconds. Ohh well.
P4nzer opens a guy in a 4set. 3 guys one HB. The girl is pretty sexy looking and sorta my type. She is definitely not with any of the guys and I will look at her every once in a while. She is returning very good eye contact but nothing comes of it. I give p4nzer props though for opening the guy. That plays a big part in the game. While he didn’t open the rest of the group I think opening everyone guys and girls a like is important.
After this we head out to the patio and hang back for a little while. P4nzer is scoping the place out and finds a 3 set of HB’s. He decides to go open them and I will come wing for him after a little while. I hang back and watch the interaction. It seems to be going so-so. It is a little hard to control 3 women but he does a good job. Two start texting and I am about to go wing but I decide not to for some reason. Next thing you know the two girls come back in and get involved in the conversation. After a few more minutes the two girls texting actually go sit down leaving one of the girls with him. I think he ran this set pretty well unfortunately it turns out the girl who stayed was married.
After this HBSNL arrives with her friend HBSteph and a guy friend. The guy is pretty cool and opens up very well. We head up to the bar and grab some drinks then head back outside and stand at a table. I am showing HBSNL very little interest. This annoys her greatly and she starts questioning why I am not paying her much attention. Every once in a while a guy will come open her and she will blow them out.
A while in I get a text saying CJ and Sinn are here. It turns out they are right behind me. I walk up and introduce myself to them. They seem to be pretty cool guys. I don’t want to annoy them since they are there for one reason. After a small chit chat I go back to my group. At some point a Super HB walks by with her date. She is behind him and just eyeing me down. I of course hold eye contact, don’t say a word and as she walks by grabs my arm. I never get a chance to open her later but that would have been interesting.
After a while a 4 set arrives and sets up shop right behind us. I am in a friendly mood and open one of the girls. She is very receptive but I am just being friendly and go back to HBSNL. It turns out p4nzer later goes up this same girl and runs some extremely good game on her. He ends up with his first number close. Well done.
HBSNL’s friends at some point leave without even saying goodbye. I think her guy friend is a little pissed. He can’t figure out why she will sleep with me but not his best friend who I guess she likes. I don’t know either and I don’t care. We end up leaving and head back to my place. She ends up staying the night.
