Those three single words deserve a lot of credit. I know they are so far against the common indirect game most of us use. But from my limited experience with them they are golden. Not on every girl. Not in every circumstance. But I have seen them in action. And I like it.

I remember back when I was new to the game I read the article on shock and awe. I liked the concept because it was much more congruent with me. But I was new and a puss and there was no way I was going to do that. Plus I was really into the whole indirect approach that I kind of put it aside. It was brought back into the picture a few weeks ago when a fellow PUA posted it online. I liked it months ago and never used it but now I am much more ballsy and decided it was time to try it out.

Monday night a bunch of us go out. We go check out this new club called Foundation Room. It is a private club part of House of Blues. I really liked it but it was not busy at all. So we decided to bounce over to Martini Ranch. We used to go there all the time on Mondays. It was a 50/50 chance of being decent on Mondays. Tonight was one of the good nights thank goodness. I had about 4 friends with me and the ex. We posted up in the center of the room which is always a good idea. The ex and I go into our own little world for a while like no one exists. I love this feeling. I get it with her and I get it when I am in the zone with random girls. So there we are in the middle of the room just making out for the world to see. Eventually around 1 am this ends as she has to leave.

When I get back inside I go into shock and awe mode. I have never done it before but for some reason it just comes over me. I hadn’t planned on using it tonight but I just do. The first girl I use it on is I think an Indian girl. I am not certain I just know she had a dark complexion and a banging body. Actually she was pretty hot, super petite, just my type. I went over the top nutty with this girl and I guarantee if the logistics were correct it would have pulled. She was so into it. Smile ear to ear just loving it. I opened with how could you possibly expect me to let someone as beautiful as you walk by without saying hello. Then from there I just kept saying shit like that. Way over the top. It eventually comes out that she is there with someone. I then go yeah I would never expect someone as stunning as you to be here alone. She then goes yeah I would think the same about you. So at this point I know there is attraction if nothing else but I couldn’t build any rapport. She said she was flying out tomorrow and I left it at that. I didn’t find out where she was going or anything. Chalk it up to not having a game plan I suppose. Really just not knowing where to take it.

The next girl I did this on was a little asian hottie. I soft opened her when I came back in from walking the ex to her car. I did the little move where each of us is walking by and you kinda get in her way like you are saying hi to someone over her shoulder. I have seen Lion do this a billion times with success and I just started using it myself. The girls laughed hit me on the shoulder and walked off. Like I said just a soft opener. Then later in the night they walk by again. So I of course open her and go into the shock and awe. She was eating it up. Since it is so over the top most girls have never heard anything like it. If nothing else they think it is super funny and they have a good time with it. It turns out this girl has a BF but who knows. I think with a good BF Destroyer this was a go.

I have been going out with a promoter lately. I swear this guy knows half of Dallas. It is funny to go out with him and see how many people he knows. It usually cracks me up. Anyways this guy always introduces me to women and it does nothing for me. Either because he barely knows them or well really because I do nothing. I just extend my hand and say nice meeting you. The only reason I mention this is because the last girl I did shock and awe on he knew. In fact he introduced the girl’s friend to Lion and they were hitting it off. I never said one word to the girl the whole night but close to closing time she walks by me. I just went over the top and she loved it. I mean she was 100% into it the whole time. It was like the easiest pick up in the world. Anyways we all end up going to Nandina’s afterwards. None of my friends wanted to go eat sushi but I did because I still hadn’t closed this girl. When we arrive she is at the bar getting something and turns around and comes over to the table. I walk right up to her and she is acting a little weird. I call her out on it and she says I intimidate her. Now this girl is just about as tall as me with her heels on. I usually don’t go for girls like this but I find her super sexy.

So they are making a table for us and I decide to sit across from her but at a cati-corner position. Even though I showed insane interest I sort of wanted to back off from this approach just a little. At some point I am talking with my friends when a wadded up napkin flies across the table and hits me. I know it is from her and call her out on her 2nd grade antics. I then tell her I need to go ahead and get her number so I can take her out and slide my phone across the table. I do this on purpose so the entire table hears and sees my actions. It is bold and over the top and I think she liked it. She then goes no I will write it down. So she writes her number on a napkin wads it up and throws it over to me. I don’t open it. I just casually put it into my pocket. My friends are now wanting to leave and I must follow suit. I let her know and she is upset. She then offers me a ride home. This would have turned into a SNL if my logistics weren’t messed up. It was my car and I had to make sure my friends got home safely.

Fast forward to Saturday night and we head up to Republic. El Fenix and I just ran a really good set together. We both number closed with ease. We are now feeling good and I am flat out feeling amazing. Just one of those nights where you feel unstoppable. I walk past a girl and step on her foot. I then blame it on her and she apologizes hahah. We make a couple rounds and are now chilling on the patio. I somehow start talking to some girl who says she is a doctor. I am not into her at all and tell her how I work on Burger King and she is my new sugar momma. The set is going fine when some much more attractive girl walks up and I open her. Once again this is going just fine when all the sudden El Fenix walks up and I start talking to him and the two girls leave. No worries I didn’t want either one of them.

I think this is the order of events that took place but if not who cares you are not the wiser. At this point I spot a hottie blonde who is part of a mixed 5 set. Two guys and three girls. The guys have their back turned to us about 10 feet away and the girls are basically facing our direction. I glance over hoping for eye contact but never receive it. I tell El Fenix that I am going to just barge right into the set and open this girl using shock and awe. I have to tell him twice and then I just walk right over. I literally push right through the two guys so they know I have entered and just walk right up to the girl. Bam I go over the top. My opener is OMG you are so Beautiful. How could you possible not expect me to come up to you and say hello. She smiles ear to ear. I look around her group. The two girls are smiling as well. Yes you bet your ass I am saying this so everyone can hear. I go on and on. I turn around and try to shake one of the guys hand. He won’t extend his hand. I give him shit and he finally gives in. I just turn back around and start chatting her up some more. I swear if I had this down I couldn’t even imagine what would happen. I don’t think I would use anything else. After a few minutes I say hey where is your phone. She goes it’s in my purse. Let me see it. She takes it out and I dial my number. Who are you calling she asks. Who do you think I am calling? Yourself. Yes you are correct. Should I text or call you? You should definitely call me. A few minutes more and my lack of conversational ability kicks in. I eject.

I might have blown myself out by the event that took place next. When I eject I spot a two set leaning up against the rail. The rail backs up to a bunch of windows that looks on into the inside of the joint. I walk right in between the two girls and just act like I am looking into the window or checking myself out in the reflection. I hear them laughing while I am doing this. I then lean back and am like ohh hello.

And then just like magic I bust out shock and awe on one of the girls. I mean just straight up identical. The girl was into it but I failed somewhere because towards the end it just didn’t go right. But you know what I noticed. Just like in the other set her friend was just flat out eating this shit up. It is almost as if the other girls who you are not using it on are becoming attracted to you. They are wishing you were saying this to them.

Here is the funny thing about what I am writing. I am actually writing this on a Tuesday. Well the second half of this is being written on a Tuesday. The first half was probably written sometime on Sunday. But while I was just writing that above paragraph it dawned on me. The other girls are becoming attracted to you while you are saying this. There is a chance that they are becoming way more attracted to you then your target. Now while this would be insanely mean wait a minute OMG my brain is going nutty over this approach. It is so cruel!

Alright this can work two ways. Depending on your evilness level.

You walk up to your target whether it is a 2 set or 3 set or whatever. You run shock and awe on her. After you run shock and awe for about 2 minutes you then go. Ok everything I just said to you I wanted to say to your friend. I was just too shy. Or something along those lines. Your target will go fucking nuts at this point and become even more attracted to you. You can then start talking to obstacle. Maybe throw a neg or two at the target. Here is where it will be really tricky. I am not sure where to go from here but I believe these two girls will be fighting over you now.

Or you can do just the opposite. Open the obstacle with shock and awe. Then just reverse it just like what I said above. I have a feeling this way probably won’t work out as well.

It takes some balls to run shock and awe. I just hope I have big enough balls to try the above. I’m all excited thinking about doing this. Ahhh I have to try it out.

I was so happy with myself when I ran through that 5 set. I mean seriously even while writing this right now I still chuckle a little about it. It was something that I have never done since I have been in the game. I mean the thought of doing something like that would have scared the shit out of me. When I did it I didn’t hesitate for one second. I was just like yep I’m doing it. I just don’t understand how I could go balls out and do this but on occasion won’t open some girl I find highly attractive who is by herself or just with another friend. Have I made some breakthrough? No probably not but I can tell some forms of AA are falling away.
